1. Camp - Thank you to everyone for bringing in your camp money. Please return your behavior/medical forms by Friday. Please be sure to label all clothes you are bringing to camp. NO electronic devices/machines will be allowed on the trip (e.g. CD players, gameboys, cell phones etc.). Please be sure to bring extra clothing to camp. An extra set may come in handy (e.g. you step in a puddle and get wet feet - socks, or you sweat a great deal when playing flags - t-shirt etc.). Parents are invited to visit the YMCA camp on Tuesday evening. THANK YOU TO PARENTS FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE YMCA CAMP EXPERIENCE. We will do our best to make camp a highlight of the year for your children!
2. EQAO - I will be sending home some EQAO prep./review sheets. Basically, it is a review of many things we have covered since September. IT IS NOT mandatory your child practice these sheets. I would like the kids to relax and simply do their best. EQAO test will be Monday, May 17 - Friday, May 21. Each day will consist of about 2.5 hours of testing.
3. Westdale track meet - If your are interested in helping me out with the Westdale track meet, please send a note with your child to school. The dates of the meet are Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19. We will be having the track meet during the afternoons, when the kids are not being tested. Thanks!
4. Pizza orders - The next Pizza orders will be due Friday, May 21.
5. Holiday - Monday, May 24 is Victoria Day Holiday!

1. Parents/Guardians: Please check planners and verify that the work listed is complete before signing each evening. There are some students who are starting to make it a habit to not complete homework. I have told them that they need to make a choice to take responsibility for completing the work and handing it in to me, on time. Work that is not completed/handed in, will result in a mark of zero, which will affect their grade. I greatly appreciate your help in this matter.
